    Dearest Pastor Keith Priester,
Jimmy and I thank you so much for your recent prayers regarding the surgery Jimmy had to remove a "tumor'' from his bladder. Before I had spoken to Regina about his surgery, we had the faith to know that whatever "it" was. God would give us the strength and courage to do whatever was necessary to get Jimmy well.
I spoke with Regina and asked her to put Jimmy on her church prayer list and she said that she would be going to church that very evening. Regina came to me on Thursday, May the 5th after your prayer meeting on Wednesday. She smiled and said "It's all taken care of. do not worry!" I was stunned but I can honestly tell you. from that moment on I KNEW something different was happening and I had a real peace about it.
On Friday, May the 6th; the day of his surgery, his Doctor came out to speak with me about the procedure. His demeanor was solemn and he said that the tissue did look abnormal but we would not know for sure until we got the pathology report. I did not tell Jimmy exactly what he said, not wanting to worry him. It was hard enough not knowing but I did not want to say anything negative. We knew that it was a good possibility that it could be bladder cancer but we would not speak of it.
We prayed daily that God, the great healer and great comforter, would comfort and heal him.
The big day came and we went to get the results of the pathology report. I can't explain the tension that was in that room prior to the Doctor coming in. Both of us had not spoken about the possibility of cancer. We did not want to speak negatively about it.
We were both stunned when he burst into the room all smiles!  Then he told us that the tumor was NOT cancer, it was some type of infection. He said he was surprised about the results and commented that is was wonderful to be able to give good news for a change. We both looked toward heaven and knew it was GOD not man that had resolved this problem. We had not cried about tin's at all. but now we wanted to cry tears of joy!
My first thoughts were of you and Regina. I know your prayers had played a huge roll in our success. Regina is such a wonderful manager and friend and I am forever in debt to you and her for your  prayers.
  You definitely have God's ears.
We would love to visit in your church sometime and to personally thank you for your intercession. Thank you again for all of your thoughts and prayers,
In Christ,
  Sheryle and Jimmy
